I'm considering running the recovery CD to get back to factory settings to see if it resolves the problems I'm having with the orbicam but I have a lot of data on the second partition. Will this be affected by the imaging process? I'm guessing no but just want to be sure..

No, it will only format and reinstall on the C drive. If you have merged the C and D drive then you will be screwed, but if you have kept the partitions seperate, when you initiate the recovery partition, it will only format the C drive.

Worked! Cam is ok now and the D: drive is intact :) I did back up most things Arla, I just didn't have enough DVDs for everything. I still forgot to back up my mailbox though... I always forget to back up my mailbox...
