Can somebody who has one of these please please clear this up for me. I acquired one of these a while ago and now want to use it as a dedicated music jukebox but I need spdif to use my audio DAC. Some say that if it does support spdif, it should have a sexy little red light near the 3.5 audio out socket, which lights up when in spfif mode. Others say that there are several sub models and some do and some don't. Mine has spdif written above the socket but I can't see any red light. I'm using the correct mono male 3.5 to female RCA adapter to accommodate my coax cable. To be clear, I've just loaded up a clean version of Win XP with SP3, I've installed the very latest drivers from the realtek site but still no joy. In the realtek audio tray app, it shows spdif with only 48k sampling and allows me to choose it, but the spdif slider in the sound control is greyed out and no matter what I try, no spdif. I am technical so I can't see that I am doing anything wrong here. I'm starting to think that it is not supported on this model. Any help much appreciated.
