Well I mainly want a notebook for school, web surfing, storing photos/music/documents/ "maybe videos". I was thinking about playing games but nothing major that would cause me to have a intense GPU.
I am not very familiar with Acer.
Let me know on your thoughts of it.

For $400, it seems like a great deal. The only problem I see from customer reviews is that either you get an error-free laptop or one that constantly freezes. Also, you should install Windows 7 to get more benefit from the laptop.

Looks like a solid pick-up - just be aware that your machine will have a single-core CPU, which might hamper your multitasking capabilities.
That being said, video shouldn't be a problem; the GMA 4500MHD can decode the complex ones to reduce the strain on the CPU.
