Does this Switch 10 have the option for the HDD in the keyboard?

No. There is a version with HDD in the keyboard and one without it. The one that doesn't have the HDD also doesn't have the connector an is slightly different inside as far as the plastics go so you can't put one in.

That said both 32GB and 64GB versions have an option of plain keyboard and one with HDD so you can simply buy one with it.

I'm thinking of buying one myself by the way (although I'm looking at FHD version)

What is the cost of the FHD? I can't find that for sale anywhere. I don't see an FHD listed on their main site though I found a youtube video discussing it http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/series/aspireswitch10

For the one listed I've read it can accept a 128gb micro sad is that correct?

I just ordered the one from the link above but if the FHD price is close to 300 I'll cancel and order that one.

Apparently it does accept 128GB cards.

As for the FHD version - oddly I can't find it available anywhere in the US. I don't think it will be close to $300 though - in Europe it's closer to $500 and while that includes ridiculously high VAT and probably a premium for the fact that it is brand new (FHD has been available for a few weeks only), it's still unlikely that it would be close to $500.

I think I will just keep my order. I have a an 11" Alienware that is 1366x768 and it works alright. 128gb of space would be enough for me. $300 is my budget right now and my old iPad mini is dog slow to use in the living room and travel.
