I have an Acer laptop which no longer boots so I removed the Hitachi hard drive and put it in a different laptop. When I switched on the laptop it asked me for my drive lock password which I enterred but for some reason it now says that this is incorrect, can anyone help me remove this password, I tried installing as a slave drive on a desktop to retreive my data but it doesn't let me access it. i contacted Hitachi who said there was no solution.

Sorry, but bypassing security measures is against forum rules. Oh, and spammers often ask us about security measures on their first post.
