This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is there a difference between the drivers and Bios' on Acer's U.S. website and the European one? I have an Aspire 7520-5311 that I want to put Vista 64-bit on and the drivers are a lot easier to locate on the European one. There is also a newer BIOS available on the European site, if it is compatible. Thanx.

    just the server they come from,,, and the fact that the Euro site seems to be updated much more often... i've been using drivers and BIOS files from Euro since the day i came to NBR and found out about the euro site
