    Driver help, Mass storage controller missing driver

    Have done a clean install of VISTA HP. Keep being prompted to install driver for "Mass storage controller". Device manager shows it with yellow exclamation mark. Windows cannot locate a driver. Looked on the Acer site but unsure what to install for this one.
    Device manager just calls it "other device"
    Acer Aspire 9301awsmi.
    Grateful if anyone can advise what it is and where to look.

    Hi, did you make a application and drivers disk before you wiped the hard drive. If so just put in in and let vista search for the driver to that location.

    Er... no ! Actually though I have the Acer upgrade DVD with drivers on it. Could that be worth a look ?
    What is this device though ?

    Asked it to search the upgrade DVD and it's found it ! TI Multimedia flash technology driver. Card reader ?
