Good evening fine peoples of the internet!

I've been playing around with my dual monitors trying to get them running on my little Acer Aspire 1 and having no luck at all.

It's best to spell things out because I am functionally (computer) illiterate.

Both monitors are linked by a DVI-D cable.

Monitor 1 is connected by VGA-out to the laptop in VGA-out port.
Monitor 2 is dark, Monitor 1 connects just fine.

The question is what kind of hardware or graphics upgrades do I need to use the Aspire with these two monitors: Two 23" Wide LCD Monitors: Amazon.com: ASUS VH232H - 23" Wide (16:9) LCD Monitors - Black: Electronics

    Thanks in advance! ~Kelly

    this can't work. Never ever.

USB-DVI adapters are available, but I am not sure if your laptop has enough performance to feed such a device.

    crap.

yeah, the Acer is not the strongest machine out there but at least I know not to waste more time on figuring this out.

Okay, keeping the dual monitor set up for the day in the near future when I replace the Acer with a good computer.

    Thanks for the help!
