    Can somebody please tell me why it is that when i unplug the ac power on my acer aspire 5920g, the current power plan does not change and just carries on on its original plan.......??

    And yes the battery settings are different and not the same as the ac settings...

    Please help...

    maybe the power is being managed by windows,,, check control pannel,, look for POWER OPTIONS

    Can the power be managed by anything else but windows, if so not sure how to change it, nothing in power options under control panel...

    just the ePower managment part of the ACER EMPOWERING TECH..

    press the green E button and check out the options in that software
