    Empowering works on Vista x64...NOT

    hi guys. i made a fresh install with vista x64 in my 5920g and when i install acer empowering framework, the program doesn´t work :(. is the acer empowering software compatible with windows vista x64??

    Well acer only have a 32bit version of the program, and while 32bit programs aren't a problem on 64bit vista(windows will just emulate them to 64bit instructions) the problem might be driver related. If the empowering framework uses any drivers (they would be 32bit drivers because it is 32bit software) then they will not work on a 64bit OS. You can only use 64bit drivers on XP/vista 64bit edition.

    not to be to critical, but that software is only useful in creating recovery disks, after that its useless.
