    Hey there,

I was just looking in device manger for the broadcom wireless lan, which I think is in most Acers. Under the advanced options you can enable "Afterburner" (disabled by default). It's a speed enhancement for 802.11g/b, called "Speed Booster" by Linksys, but it's the same thing.

My wireless router has "Speed Booster" aka "After Burner" and I can"After Burner" in my Acer. It's ment to increase 'real world' usage speed by 35%-50%.

Just thought I would share this with you, hope someone finds it useful.
