    Enable Wireless without Empowering or Emanagement?

    So, I'd like to run my 5040 without acer's large suite of software.

    As I understand, something in the suite has wbutton.exe which needs to be in the boot.ini file for my wireless button to work. But i've only got this far.

    Does anyone know how to enable my wireless button without Empowering or Emanagement?

    GOT IT. Simply run wbutton.exe and add it into boot.ini.

    Now I am completely free of .NET and the absolute trash Acer gave with the laptop. Do they really think they can compare to the might of the software industry?
