    Hey all,

A friend of mine got this Acer laptop and since today the screen is just messed up.
I dont know what kind of error this is so i will upload a picture for you all.

After i have seen this i connected a other screen and on that one i can see the Acer boot screen with pink lines and stuff.

Some times the screen will get stuck on the System boot screen with the text all messed up.

Got it to run on safe mode but that didnt get me any further.

I hope some or you can help me out, because i cant get this to work.

What is the model and specs of the laptop? How old is the laptop?

Looks like the screen or video card went bad, but that's just my opinion; it could be anything.

Yeah- screen, GPU or the something along the line like a flex-tape that connects it (or whatever it's called- I can't remember ATM).

To rule out GPU test if it works fine when connected to an external display.
