    Hello,

I can no longer get the alternate monitor to work on my 5920G.
It's been awhile since I used this HDMI output to my TV, so I
could have done any number of things to screw it up.

I noticed another thread about this where a person got it to work,
but didn't post how. I'm using the latest video drivers from the Acer
Euro site, but I have tried a couple of the 17x versions from
Laptopvideo2go, with no difference. Any ideas appreciated.

I don't want to sound too obvious but make sure that the Fn and the F5 buttons actually work. If you can refresh a browser window using F5 and you can switch on and off the screen using Fn+F6 then they work.

My best guess to your problem is that it could be an issue with the chipset driver. Try reinstalling it.

try accessing the NVIDIA driver settings while HDMI is hooked up and TV is powered on and set to correct channel... i saw one post where after updating drivers,, the user had to actually be hooked up, powered up, and turned to the HDMI INPUT1 before the option shows up in the NFORCE software... then after re-enabling the DRIVER functionality,, the button went back to working??? no clue why... but that's what the poster reported
