    Tried to haggle for an Acer Aspire Ethos and I wasn't even offered a 2% discount. Not a single penny reduced, with the excuse of all their products are already heavily discounted so they can't make a profit if they offer anymore discounts.

    Are you trying to get any particular Ethos or any model, I've found one in Comet for £899 but you can get £45 discount if you google and get yourself registered at" myvouchercodes". They are giving 5% discount for laptops more than £499. Hope this helps.
