I am planning to put in an Intel T9500 in a few months into my Aspire 6920G and then I would like to tackle RAM next. I'm guessing my current 3 GB RAM is DDR2 667 MHz? What's the fastest RAM my laptop would be able to take, or would any RAM be downclocked to 667 MHz? It's just that once I get my T9500 the FSB would be 800 MHz, so I would like to make use of that.

    Thanks!

That's the strange thing about the PM965 chipset - the FSB can go up to 800 MHz, but RAM is still limited to DDR2-667.
Actually, come to think about it, the 4 Series chipset is the same - FSB up to 1066, DDR2 limited to 800.

So there is nothing I can do about the stock RAM?

Nope - all you can do is to upgrade to 4GB of DDR2-667; maybe low-latency if you want to spend the extra cash.

Higher frequency and lower latency is a marketing gimmick and provides no real life benefit. I wouldn't bother to waste your money on it.
