Awesome.
Reviews. Now.

Why no reviews? [V]

It takes time for reviews to come out.
Why do they put a 4200rpm drive in it when everything else is top of the line? -
I'd like some initial impressions at least! [
]
I'm assuming its for marketing purposes and they think most people would only see the size of the hard drive not the RPM. -
well i recieved mine 2 days ago, ill write a review as soon as i get back home (taking a vacation [
]). For now the poor thing is in the box collecting dust in my room...[

re the speed of the HD. Is it possible like the other thread said..marketing, so many people only know about the size of the hardrive and are unaware of other differences, also is less cost and perhaps because it is slower it might produce less heat. just my 2 cents. I am searching for a notebook primarily to run photoshop CS and my images as well as other graphics programs...having a tough time searching it out without breaking the bank. thank you

Hi,
Just got my Ferrari 3200 2 days ago (11june), one word describes it:
AWESOME[]
I just ran the 3DMark03 test on it and I was amazed. Previously the Rockdirect 3.2XTR was hailed as the best (beating alienware area 51 machines by 15 %, according to press releases in alot of mags)
The 3.2XTR scores circa. 2900, whereas the Acer Ferrari 3200 on its first tests, with alot of utility programs running scored an amazing
3030. This from a machine which has everything on it and cost around 500-600 pounds cheaper than the other 2 mentioned.
In conclusion it makes it the best pound for pound machine to buy[]
Even if it wasn't I would still be happy with it.
Kans.
PS: COPIED FROM MY OTHER POST, BUT THE BENCH MARCK SCORE SAYS IT ALL.
Ferrari 3200 in stock!!!
