Guys,
Anyone managed to get the Ferrari 4005 Bluetooth mouse working as a mouse is expected to work.
Mine still has big lags and slow response times. I've changed the batteries and recharged them but still no success.
Any help or idea is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Corneliu.

It's a hardware thing, so I don't think that anyone can fix it, it would be interesting if someone who is really electronic wiz. can open it and see where is the capacitor/timer that is responsible of that, my guessing it was put there to save power but it got buggy.
What a waist, it's a wonderful mouse -
I can only confirm that I, too, am experiencing the same problem but I have not found any information on acer's website nor from other forums regarding any solutions to this issue. I purchased my unit on Oct 15, 2005.

Has anyone contacted Acer either to try to get it replaced or something? I've read a lot of complaints about the mouse... but nothing else...

Mine actually works fine. Except if I don't use it for like a minute or so. Then it needs a second to get going. I don't have any lag problems other than that. I just got this like a week ago, so maybe they changed the mouse, but the manufacturing date says May I think.

Mine seems ok too, just as long as I remember it is not my logitech 1600dpi mouse! But it is handy to have the wireless and just pop it in the bag when on the go. Wish there was an on/off switch on it though!

It's interesting that the mouse lags so bad...have you tried the notebook with any other bluetooth mouse?
I think the Btooth mouse is more of a gimmick than anything else...it certainly is cool to have a matching mouse, but not if it is sub-par.
Ferrari 4005 Bluetooth mouse .. again ?
