    Hi Guys,
I have a few basic questions i could do with some help with....

Background, i am looking to go 64 bit Vista.

    1. How much memory can i install. I was hoping to get 2 sticks of 4gb for a total of 8gb. (4gb would be OK i suppose)

    2. What is the latest BIOS? on the acer web site they show a revised BIOS for use on XP machines but not for Vista. Can i use the same one as for vista or are they different.

    3. From my research i dont think that there are too many issues with 64 bit driver support from ACER or does anybody have any expedrience. (I wont be installing much hardware other an external hard drive)

    4. The only software i currently run apart from the standard ACER install is Office, AutoCAD and Nero. Are there any issues with these programs?

    5. I have the recovery and installation media for Vista that was supplied by ACER. Does this contain the install for the 64 bit version or if not do ACER have 64bit Vista install media for ther ferrari?

    6. I would also like to upgrade the HD to a 7200rpm model. Any ideas of a decent replacement? i am not sure of IDE , SATA PATA etc. Could i install this and then use the ACER media to get Vista installed properly?

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers
