    Hi there,

I would like owners of Ferrari 3200 (or may be 3400)to help me out on this.

Recently i have downloaded some HD video clips encoded in WMV format eg ( the windows media 10 HD vids ) they are 8mbps to 10 mbps all are 1920x1080 and some other 1440x1080 hd clips as well.

I whould like to ask if anyone has problem playing the file.

for me i some slight lag in the video in wmv10 but the audio is fine

on the other hand using PowerDvd6 the video is smooth but after about 7 sec the audio starts to breakup.

I thought it might be some conflic in some programs, hardware or drivers. so i installed a fresh copy on windows with factory drivers and it has the same result.

tried playing it on the ferrari 4005 no problems at all.

any suggestions to fix this problem?

I downloaded those videos as well - I haven't had the problems which you speak of...have you tried getting the latest sound drivers? That might fix the problem.

Don't know if it's related, but I had similar A/V problems with those WMV HD files on my TM4402. It got solved by upgrading from Media Player 9 to version 10.

may b my ferrari 3200 has reach its limit. with the 1440x1080 files
while the lower resolution 1280x720 works fine...

By " slight lag", do you mean that the video is not in sync with the audio, or is the video skipping frames and appears to be stuttering (but still remains in sync with audio over a long period of time)?

If it's the latter problem, then it might be a performance issue. Media players typically give priority to the audio. Video decoding gets very demanding at high resolutions and if the system can't keep up, video frames will get skipped/dropped, making the video appear choppy. You might want to update your graphics driver and the DirectX runtime, then check the following settings:
    1) Verify that Control Panel->Display->Settings->Advanced->Troubleshoot->Hardware acceleration is set to Full, and enable write combining too
    2) In Media Player 10, verify that Tools->Options->Performance->Video acceleration is set to Full. If the slider is disabled, click the Restore Defaults button first.
