I just installed the new Bios 3805, and my computer alternate loud fan sounds and then weak fan sounds. By no means are they annoying and noticeable, but these sounds are all that it does; is that normal for a new BIOS(new fan patterns).

I tried installing the new Realtek driver 1.86, but after I installed it and restarted my computer, there was no sound, so I had to go through a system restore. How do I activate the new Realtek driver after restart? And does this 1.86 give the Acer 5920G the ability to output audio via HDMI?

You can sweep the sound drivers in safe mode after uninstalling the old before installing it fresh.
By the way, how is the new BIOS? is it more noisy than the previous version?

Also 1.86 has the best output. But if u switch on the effects like POP/Disco etc.. my speakers start vibrating. Otherwise its Good.

An advise: before you install a new version of realtek driver, be sure that the old version is uninstalled through windows' remover, then restart your windows, and after that you can do the driver update ;)

The new Bios appears to be working just fine. Before it, I had problems such as the computer would never go to sleep or shut down(sometimes it would take 30 minutes to do so and I got impatient and shut it off manually). I can deal with the fan sounds probably.

Also, I try installing the new driver by going to device manager and going to update driver instead of clicking in the file name itself, but it doesn't update that way, though that's the way that I installed my Graphics driver(156.72), and I didn't have to uninstall the first one, just update it. I'll see what I Can do, but it said to label the new Realtek 1.86 as my new audio output device, but I couldn't find it. I can always do system restore, but I'm a little nervous about uninstalling a driver.
