I've seen somewhere a downloadable utility to tell me exactly what hardware is on my laptop so that I can install the right drivers. Unfortunately I can't now find it. Anybody have a link please? Or a way to establish what graphics card etc., I have? Thanks in advance!

cpu-Z or pc wizard? CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting .Their is others, but these are good.
You can also type system information in the search box in the windows logo.It shows just about everything.Works on 7,don't know about others. -
Nowhere near as comprehensive as the other link posted though - just the basics on who made what. -
