I've seen somewhere a downloadable utility to tell me exactly what hardware is on my laptop so that I can install the right drivers. Unfortunately I can't now find it. Anybody have a link please? Or a way to establish what graphics card etc., I have? Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for the Acer tool try this link http://global-download.acer.com/FilesDownload/HWID/HWVendorDetection.exe

Nowhere near as comprehensive as the other link posted though - just the basics on who made what.

Thanks for that. In the end I remembered SiSoft Sandra so I've gone with that.
