I just downloaded BIOS v1.17 ( ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/travelmate_5520/vista/Bios/v1.17.zip) and now I'm having trouble figuring out which file to start with. The "main" zip file contains a second zip and HIB117WW.BLD (where do I put this file?). The second zip contains what seems to be the flashing utility with the BIOS (.rom) and an ATI folder (which also seems to have some kind of flashing utility "POM117.EXE") but it also contains a third zip "POM117_CRISDISK.ZIP" which according to the .hlp file inside, is a recovery utility. Can I burn this CRISDISK to a bootable CD and use it to recover from a bad flash?

EDIT: I took the plunge and ran POM117.exe in the ATI folder which successfully flashed the BIOS.
