This all started with this earlier thread of mine,
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=390796

the long and short is that no matter what I tried, either from the driver update tab and selecting the file for the driver I wanted, or from running set.exe from the driver itself the result was always the same. A message "no compatable hardware for this driver found" and the install and set up wizard would just exit.
So is there a way to "force" a driver on to the system ?

Thanks Chris. At the moment the driver I got on to the system 7.15.11.6369 seems to work really well. The main problem with the original 7.15.11.9755w is random "display driver NVMLDDMKM stopped responding but has recovered" messages. Always happened at start up. Up to though now all OK.
