I have a laptop Aspire the 5633. After first launch I create eRecovery DVD. The version is first installed is WinXP Home Edition I decide installing the WinXP Pro Edition. The installation past successful but I see PQSERVICE partition is formatted (I don't know how). Now I don't have application which I have on eRecovery DVD. Now I cannot installing eRecovery because windows info me "Not D2D System".
I have three questions:
1. Is possible restituting the partition by means of eRecovery DVD the PQSERVICE?
2. If possible I download legal application (NTI CD & DVD Maker, Acer Arcade, cyber Link Power Producer) which came with new laptop
3. The laptop computer may be able to take in without problem if there is no the partition PQSERVICE?
Thanks.
P.S.
You are pardoning if my English is not grammatical accurate.

You'd better create your own xp cd, You'll find some infos about that on this forum or search google for "create xp cd acer", then you'll have your legal copy of xp preinstalled (wga pass) for your Acer. Then delete this partition and save some 5 Go ! All acer's apps are available on their website, and the drivers you need too...

Also google is your friend (look @ my signature) do a search for PQSERVICE in the forums here and it will turn up many hits on the problems and solutions you look for.
