    Format install vista, install eRecovery?

    if I format(remove recovery partition) and install vista with original vista cd then run eRecovery software from acer website, will it create recovery partition and factore restore? be able to create factory recovery cd as well?

    If you meant to do a fresh install of the OS without formatting the harddrive though, you could first make a recovery disk, and then go ahead with the fresh install. That way you'd have a fallback, and besides after you reinstall Windows using your recovery disks, access to the recovery partition (Disk 2 Disk recovery) will be reenabled. Remember that this would only be the case if you DO NOT reformat your hard drive and preserve the recovery partition when choosing a drive to reinstall a fresh OS on.
