    Can anyone tell me how to format my laptop ACER 9420. I have win xp "illegal version" in my LT, but need to install legal one, wish is older version that I thought I lost but found again, that's why there was illegal one in my LT. :confused:

    don't need to double post.

    Do you have recover disks? try on reboot hit Alt+F10 keys to start erecovery and reinstall xp.
