Hi. Gameplay frame rates drop significantly whenever my Laptop is in its charging state. I've chosen Windows 7 Power Plan's ' Balanced' settings and the same thing occurs even if I choose ' High Performance' settings... The clear difference is seen on when I play Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition PC, the gameplay frames becomes laggy which makes the moves difficult to execute. But when I don't charge the Laptop the gameplay is very smooth...

    Is this behaviour normal?
Any idea what's going on over here, guys?
Should I select some other settings? Help me.

    My Laptop is: Acer 5749; I3-2350M 2.3GHz, 3GB RAM, 500HDD, Intel HD 3000.

Check with ThrottleStop if your notebook is throttling on charger. If so, that could indicate that your machine needs cleaning.

Also, the charger may be defective.

Is ThrottleStop a good software to run on my i3 machine cause I've downloaded it and runned. It gave me a msg:

"ThrottleStop is capable of significantly changing the performance heat heat output..
Use of ThrottleStop is at your own risk...
    By pressing OK...."

Should I continue and hit OK? Will it void my Laptop's warranty?

You won't void your warranty with a software, you can always uninstall it.

I suspect that your laptop is overheating while charging...

Alright, I'll run it and post the results.
Real quick, what should I click on in ThrottleStop for the results?
So, my Laptop is overheating while it's charging? How do I fix this issue and what is the culprit over here?
