Why would my travelmate c110 freeze midway through installing Vista?

Im using the tablet for a project at the moment. Ive managed to format the hard drive and now im trying to install Windows Vista on it but each time i try it simply freezes on the "completing installation" part.

    Anyone make any suggestions?

    hardware problem most likely.

run a checkdisk repair off of the repair console on an xp or 2k disk.

    chkdsk -r

    --ssx--

typically replying within 15 min's of each other will not get you an answer .

Try memory next, if that doesn't turn up check the motherboard.
