    Freezes while playing DvD's!

    I have a Aspire 6935, the laptop works great when in normal use the only problem is when i want to watch a dvd. This does not happen all the time but when it does its really annoying, now when watching the a dvd sometimes it freezes, starts, freezes, starts, freezes, enough to want to throw the laptop at the wall. Spoke to a mate who said it was a software issue can anyone shed any light on the subject if it is software what to do.... Its been doing this since new, i dont really wanna send it back to acer as it will be gone for a month. Thanks.
