    Freezing Acer!!!!

    I have an Acer aspire 5315 that will not boot pass "Press <F2> to go to Setup". Whenever I press f2 or any other keys nothing happen. I tried to flash it, but that wouldn't work either. Please help someone.

    Try a CMOS reset (short out the CMOS battery for a few seconds), and an Fn+Esc recovery with a BIOS you downloaded from Acer Support.

    If that doesn't fix it, then it is a hardware issue.
