That's what the sticker says. My max resolution is 1366x768 but I have an HDMI port. Does this 1080 mean that my laptop can output 1080? And is it 1080p or i?

Certain models don't have the full hd 1080P screen, but the HDMI does put out 1080P, so Acer says, im going to assume that you need the display you are using with the HDMI to support 1080P as well.

so does mine have it, mine is acer 8930g-644g32mn
it says full hd 1080 playback, 16:9 true cinematic view, 8 ms high-def responce -
W4533m:
Your 8930g has a 18.4 inch screen with a 1920 X 1080 Resolution, that means you actually have Full HD playback

YAY thanks mate makes me feel better

This is quite misleading, many laptop's mamufacturers are displaying this sticker Full HD playback (including mine) on their laptops which they mean just that, they are capable of playing 1080p videos. The laptop monitor doesn't have to be full HD. My 5920G laptop, 2 years ago, could play full HD videos without a problem and it didn't have any sticker saying that.
It is a marketing trick to ''wow'' people... and it is quite annoying for us.
