    Replaced my old Dell Inspiron 8100 (P3 1.2GHz, 512MB, Geforce2go 32MB) with the new Acer 8204 the other day, and decided to run some benchies to see just how much faster the new lappie is..

    Given the limitations of the Geforce2go in the Dell, I could not run 3D Mark 2005 or 2006 at all, so had to get nostalgic and run 3DM 2000, 2001, and 2003. Heh.

    Anyhoot, if you're stuck with a 4 year old lappie, have a look at these numbers:

    3DMark 2000 :: Dell 8100: 4760, Acer 8204: 18268
    3DMark 2001 :: Dell 8100: 2551, Acer 8204: 19813
    3DMark 2003 :: Dell 8100: 125 (yes 125), Acer 8204: 7618

    LOL :)
