    Hello.

    Anyone got a good website that has a good selection of spare parts?
    I don't know what that piece is officially called, but it's that small board that the PWR/On and PWR/Off switch inside the laptop. I snapped the wires trying to remove the connection from the motherboard.
    I have posted on the "Acer TimelineX 3830/4830/5830 T/G" thread, but I haven't been able to get any response there.

    Consult the service manual (FRU part of it) and use eBay to source necessary parts (sometimes buying a salvage unit is also more practical and cheaper since you are left with other parts that might be of use later on)
