Hi, I've just bought the wife a new laptop and it's a 6920g (same as mine lol) with exactly the same spec as mine! but what im wondering is, would it be posible to somehow make a mirror image of my hd and transfer it to her new one? im thinking of using e recovery manager and send her com my user created back up image and then restore it on her side, but im not sure if this would work. If anybody has any idea how this would work or if anyone has any better ideas to get the job done then i would be glad to hear them as it could save me a considerable amount of time ;)

    Thanks in advance.

Please explain why you would want to do this complicated procedure

Why not just leave things the way the are?. Even more

    Cheers,
    Theo

well its to save time having to configure all the little things and to have all of the same apps & games installed, basicly this laptop is set perfectly to both of our needs and if it is possible to create a mirror image then it would/should save manny hours of my precious time, well thats what im hoping anyways :)

Hi, either norton ghost or Acronis http://www.acronis.co.uk/promo/ATIH/true-image-2009.html/?source=uk_google&ad=acronis&s_scid=acronis|2553030504&gclid=CMyV15nW0ZgCFQ2ZQwodF3Mn4w Personally I'd prefer Acronis...
