    Hey guys just curious...are the Acer 5135's graphics card upgradeable? i was hoping to get maybe a little stronger than just 256 mb intel card inside there...If there is how much would they cost and where could i get them??

    Check the model of your acer laptop against the MXM list to see if it is or not - http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/Table.html

    Only recently have laptop manufacturers started giving the end user the option of upgrading their video cards, and not having them be directly soldered to the motherboard.

    If it already has an IGP (like your Intel chip), then it is impossible to upgrade it because all integrated video processors are soldered directly to the motherboard. As such it not possible to upgrade it in any way.

    Please search the forum before posting - there are multiple topics stating that if you have ANY Intel GMA in your system, the graphics can't be upgraded.
    PERIOD.
