Does the timelinex as4820tg properly output to a 1080p monitor?
I want to extend the laptops display to my monitor but need to know it will work before hand.

    Could someone check?

HDMI is defined to deliver 1080p output. That said, if it doesn't work, then anything is faulty (including the TV).
