    Hi I have joined the forum in the hope someone can help me, I can connect my Acer laptop to a monitor with no problem yet when I connect a HDMI converter to the VGA output all I get is a blank screen on both my laptop and the TV, What am I doing wrong? The VGA to HDMI converter works fine when connected to my PC, all HDMI cables have been checked and work fine... Help please

    Exactly what kind of VGA to HDMI converter are you using?

    It might be that the graphics card doesn't support this kind of converter.
