    hey all

I knew I shudnt have done this. I recently installed FlyakiteOSX. Its a software that emulates the MAC OS X on windows. I thought it was rather cool and looks good too. But it wasnt workin properly for me. I re-installed it a couple of times. But now some of the programs are not working properly. I guess thats the risk I was willing to take. I want to do a System Restore. I had created points rite b4 installation. But its not letting me. It sez theres a RUn TIme Error. What do I do? How do I do a restore? What other options do I have?

    THanx

    backup your documents
and use your recovery disk that you should have created when you got the machine to take the machine back to a "clean" install well an acer install
    in any case :)

I agree with BOFH1971. If you have a restore disk, and can back-off your data, just restore to original.

Convert your drives to NTFS too before you use your restore disk too!

    :)

Is it possible to just use a Windows XP CD and install it onto my C drive? When i got the laptop, i had formatted it, converted to NTFS and partitioned it. So most of my stuff are in drive D. And all I have in drive C are already have it backed up. So if i just format C and do a re-install it wont affect my D drive will it? (D contains some programs, of which i have all the setup files, movies, music etc). (C contains Windows, the drivers and MS-Office)
