    Need help upgrading my CPU!!

I have an Acer TravelMate 2480-2196 and here are the specs..
    CPU: Intel Celeron M 520 1.6Ghz 533Bus 1MB Cache
    Tech: 65nm
    Stepping: 6
    Revision: B2
    Socket: 479mPGA
    Chipset: i943/940GML rev. 03
    Southbridge:82801GHM (ICH7-M/U)
    Bios Version: v1.3505

I currently just bought Intel Celeron m 550 2.0Ghz, but when installed it wouldn't boot up!!

I notice some guy who has same specs and upgraded from same CPU I have to the Core 2 Duo T5300 @1.73Ghz, and was wondering should that upgrade work for me?

    celeron 520 is a socket M cpu

    celeron 550 is a socket P cpu

550 is not compatible w/ your motherboard

Core 2 Duo T5300 or T5600 should work fine
