I have an ACER Aspire 1690. For some reason my Fn +F5 key to access S-video does not work. I have checked the cord and it is fine. It seems I have looked everywhere to fix the problem but I can't find any answers. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

i may be wrong,, and i'll admit that this is just a guess made from my knowledge of other laptops and from reading here..
the FN F5 key toggles between LCD and the external monitor connector... the DB15 - the 3 row 15 pin connector,,,
and if i recall correctly,, to enable the SVGA output i believe there is an option in the VIDEO DRIVER.. either check the icon on the task bar,, or check the display properties!!!
hope that helps

If you're connecting to a TV you will need the
Radeon Omega driver.
