I have an acer aspire 3660, and it start up sooo amazingly slow.
Besides that when i insert a dvd it keeps jamming and the mouse(which is build in the laptop) is working really slow also gettin stuck sometimes.

    My disc-defragmentation is not working...

I'm almost going crazy does anybody have a clue what i can do?

Btw i have almost nothing on my pc just the mandatory progs and some additional ones i have all my files on a external harddisk so there is no good reason for these problems :(

Complete system spec's (including OS) would help immensely.
Are you putting the DVD in the drive and clicking it down so that it is locked in the drawer? or are you placing it in like you do on a desktop?
