I bought an Acer PC, ACERPOWER 1000(instead of Notebook) and I am trying to figure out how to complete the application procedure for UPGRADATION to Windows Vista? As per acer's support site I should be able to upgrade to windows vista home premium from my windows XP media center ed.
They sent me the following link to finish the upgrade, Can anybody help me in identifying "Serialized Upgrade Redemption Number"?
    https://upgradeweb.moduslink.com/Vi...2545f4uff0qpxvtlwin3))/COAAdministration.aspx
The other requirements I have already like COA number, Serial No etc.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I have contacted the upgrade people and they are still working on the agreement with Acer. I was told to keep checking back. They have added 3 new company names to the list since I called the upgrade service line. So they are adding new names slowly. Hopefully Acer will be one the list soon.

Thanks Browney and Br0K3Monk3y. I called to acer support number which specially deals with Vista upgrade but they are closed. I talked with Acer's general support call center and they werent able to give me accurate info. The representative told me that "serialized Upgrade redemption number should be supplied with the product and should be on the flyer which mentions about Windows Vista upgrade but there isnt any number. Apparently they are not knowing that Acer should be on the vendors' list on Moduslink website. I hope theyare added soon.

Hmmmm, I hear that you can apply from the 15th?

Do you have to send your COA sticker off? as I dont think I could get mine off? What about a photo?

Don't try to peel off your COA sticker.. It shouldn't come off that easily (or it would defeat microsoft's point of OEM licencing, even though most of us think OEM licences are harsh anyway)
