Its really bugging me coz whatever it is it keeps coming on when i am using the touchpad the page either scrolls up or down really quickly and i dont want it too. I dont know how its doing it and I want to stop it.

Can somebody tell me how I am activating it and is there a way of turning it off?

    Thanking you in advance...

    Which OS?
Go into control panel > Mouse > Synaptics Device Settings > Select the touchpad, and click on Settings. The properties windows will appear and you can configure the settings for Virtual Scrolling.

(Or you can disable the touchpad through Fn+F7)
