Sometime ago I upgraded the CPU in my Aspire 5315 and when I came to do it, I found one of the heatsink screws was stuck, I did manage squeeze it in albeit with a struggle, and the time to upgrade to a better one is nearly here and I was wondering if there was a way to get it out?

Did you try the thing where you put a thick rubber band between the screw and screwdriver?

If you are desperate, you could try a dab of superglue at the end of a cheap screwdriver and go from there.

Rubber band between the screw and screwdriver? How does that work?

It needs to be a thick rubber band. It helps provide grip/friction.
