Help, if anybody has a older version of the bios for Acer aspire 6920G, please send it to [email protected], thanks so much.

I've refreshed my bios to 1.07 and I have tried 1.06 and 1.10.
I am not sure if they are official release version, but since I've refreshed my bios with these versions, my computer fails.

In the past, I could use recovery DVD to restore my system, and audio drive work fine, very high quality. Now it's gone, even I use recovery DVD, my audio drive does not works fine.

It sounds like a realtek HD public drive (low sound quality), and I cannot use plug-in microphone when 5.1 Dolby effect opened.

I need help, please do send me older versions. Thanks.

I do have eaudio management. Why ask so?
It's hard to explain, but I think it's the bios problem.

Because you need it to use the tuba, which is what makes a good sound.

Not so - you don't need eAudio, just the Acer-specific audio driver.
Are you sure you have that installed?

Latest drivers from Realtek work well. Even if they are not from Acer, they use the Tuba woofer.

    Really? Huh.
The Acer ones still work for me, though - no real need to upgrade.

The acer-specific driver works better than Realtek ones. Realtek driver may use tuba but not that quality. Acer-specific driver is able to provide a better quality.

I used acer driver which was downloaded from their official website, the problem cannot be fixed. I doubt that acer did not provide the correct driver for 6920G.

I updated my bios from original version to 1.07 and then 1.10, here comes the problem, I restored the system by recovery DVD, but the sound quality never goes back. It always sounds like I am using Realtek driver.

Realtek driver does not work actually. I can use external plug-in microphone under stereo mode, but in 5.1 channel mode I was failed to do so.

5.1 mode under realtek driver sounds not good, a bit worse than acer-specific driver prior to any update or modification.
