    can anybody else help

    Is an Aspire 5920, but the video driver on the acer website for the 5920 is for an nvidia.

    I think it has an intel x3100

    I have tried phoning littlewoods, but they cannot give me a model number.

    I think it is an "Acer Aspire AS5720"

    But it can come with an INTEL X3100 or a ATI RADEON HD 2300.

    Acer are a pain in the ass??????

    this is the same problem I had.

    You could try ringing the Acer product line, and ask the 16 year old on work experience if there is someone there old enough to drive and could you please talk to them. If you manage that they may be able to help you.

    If not ask littlewoods to read the big white sticker on the box out loud to you, and write down the big number at the top. If you are lucky it might match something on the acer website.
