    Hi There
    I was wondering if anyone can help me I have just ordered an ACER ASPIRE 1691 for 599.99 from Comet I have just realised that there is an ACER ASPIRE 1691WLMI for 699.99 does any one know what the difference is ,basically I only want the laptop for wireless internet connection to surf the net without the bulk of a p.c. and maybe to play a few games not powerful ones just The Sims.
    Is this one I have ordered o.k or should I have got the other one for £100 more .

    I thought all the 169x series were 169xWLMi.. at any rate, if this is the one you've ordered:

    then it says on the Full Details page that it has 802.11g wireless, and the '64Mb ATIradeon X600' it has is fine for games like The Sims.

    Hey, I ordered the 1691WLMi from comet.

    Faster processor, DDR2 ram not DDR1, and a better graphics card [X700 not X600]

    Also I think it has a different battery.
