    Hi Guys, Im after some technical help regarding my Acer Travelmate 4070...


    Im trying to add an additional monitor to the laptop as i run a DJ Business and the travelmate screen is too small..i have purchased a 18inch flatscreen monitor which plugs right up to the laptop..Now when i turn laptop power on the monitor is working with the windows start up is showing..when its complete it switches screens and goes to the laptop screen..Do i need a Video card? or periphral component of some kind to help this work...I only want the New monitor screen to run and not the laptops...any help would be much appreciated.
