    Hey Everybody,

I just bought a Acer Ferrari 3200 [ :D], and was wondering if there
were any tutorials on how to mod the case, (like put led's under the keyboard)

Apart from that i was wondering if there was a way to replace the
the slow 4200rpm HDD, with a faster 1 say (7200rpm) and if there was a tutorial on the net that i could work through
Also if u cant replace the HDD can u change it from FAT32 to NYSC

    Thx
    Cam

Yeah, its really easy to replace hard drives. See if you can find it in the Acer manual. I just ordered a 7200RPM drive myself, and am putting it in my i8600c

    GPU cooling (100°C->75°C)* Inspiron 8600 * 1.8ghz Pentium M * 128 MB Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo (337/242 -> 400/300) * 2x512 MB DDR2700 SDRAM * Aquamark 3: 24058 * 3DMark'03: 3404 * 3DMark'01 SE: 13120

    Thx,
Tron & Andrew for your contribution,

All that remains is the factor of modding the laptop,
I was readding the moding + Upgrading section but that only showed a
tutorial for the DELL, I dont want to screw up my laptop within the first couple of weeks having it,

I believe that the Dell And the ACER are very different so if there
is a Guide for my model or similar,

if there is no guide is it possible to get a keyboard and replace it
with the Acer Ferrari 3200's keyboard,

If this is also not possible
I know that on the laptop that i preveously had, Toshiba Portege A100
that you could remove the keys, is there a way to get different keys, like red ones or something of and then replace them
1 at a time, on the ferrari 3200

    Thx
    Cam

I thouht someone mentioned it was nearly impossible to change the LED's on the 3200 and changing the keyboard would be difficult due to the curve I'd imagine. I bet you could pop off the keys and replace them if you wanted, but I ain't gonna try on mine. ;)

I'm sure you could steal a little power somewhere to put some LED's under the keyboard, but I've never seen a tutorial.
